There may have been a monster created with these newfound uploading skills, although it is interesting to see everybody's ideas on fitout.

| Geez......I need to tidy my shed up! Looks great Jim. How come all you people have thought of names already? I think building the bloody boat is the easy bit. |

Hi, I was going to name the boat "2wenty2" which is the plan number, however the minister of fun and finance was not happy about that, so we came up with Reclincey, which is a combination of our kids names. Reece, Clinton and Lacey.

Looks excellent Jim. I like the look of the Honda engine controls. Another reason... |

Some more photos of the later work.
I was going to do like everyone else does and paint the interior before fitting the deck, but decided to enclose the boat first as I don't know if my tarps can handle another big blow and I would prefer a dry interior than a painted one. It just means when I paint I will be hotter and sweatier, than usual.
Bosch HWS next to shower. Cabinet is yet to be insulated. The gas fitter said to line it with fibro, but it is a bit heavy so will I find something else.
This is my epoxy/water/beer fridge. Not allways in that order.
Ready for sheeting tomorrow.
I fitted the starb motor the other day when it was too wet to do anything else. I had to shave a pooftinth off the cover to clear the seat.
That's all for now.

Looking very good Jim - good to see lots of photos!!
Just a work of caution on the back steps - you may have created a bit of a "water feature" with having the bottom step so close to the water line - I have seen a few cats like this and what happens in any anchorage with a bit of residual swell is that the bottom step goes under water, then rises out again with water cascading off it in a nice water fall effect - can be a bit noisy though.
Yours might be allright as it is probably just high enough - but maybe a work of warning to others heading down the same path . . .
You will just have to work harder on keeping the boat light so that it floats nice and high!!
Outboards look very neat - as do the instruments. Good stuff!! _________________ "Bushytales" Easy 37 #1

Probably the most rewarding week I have had in months as far as "visual" work done. I took a bit less time to sheet the whole deck area than it did to make the enterainment cabinet in the cabin. The interior fit out is just so time consuming and finnicky, but satisfying as well when things go right.
Everytime another sheet gets glued on you can just feel the whole boat getting stronger and more rigid.
That's whole bunches of deck area there.
Next week I will start on the cabin top. I think the tarps will have to go as the heat under there is a bit much.

Looks great and another notch in the belt…well done. With the rain up that way, I suspect the tarp will be there a little longer.
My painting has come to a screeching halt with all the rain. Shouldn’t complain though…we really need it.
Have a yarn to Sean before you complete the top. There are some challenging wiring issues that will force some unwanted decisions. I say ‘unwanted’ as it stalls what could be a fast project. And keep photos too with visible measurements, they are very handy when the paint is on to locate the wiring channels when you need to put a screw through the top. _________________ James

Thanks for the advice James, even at my age I tend to "go for it" at times then suffer for it down the track. The photos and measurements before the top sheets go on makes a lot of sense.
I have decided the rear tarp can slide back to work on the roof, weather permitting.
I havn't seen too many new photos on your site lately, although I suppose there would be less to update with the stage you are at.
