Ryk, My name is Robert Hugh Brown and my family came from Scotland via Northern Ireland. We were originally presbyterians and later became catholic. Have you or any male Brown relative done genetic testing?

Thanks for your post. Sorry for the delay in answering but you posted this under the Forum Upgrade Announcement which is not a place that I'm apt to look for a question on Brown DNA testing.

I have not yet done a DNA test, but I intend to, hopefully later this year. When I do I will post any relavent information here.

In Dec 09 I had my DNA tested. I have been associated with Group 64 of the Brown Surname Study through FTDNA. More information can be found on my updated Brown web page here:
